 Born in Hammond, Indiana on October 29, 1972
 Father worked in the Steel Mills; Mother raised the children
 Two older brothers and one younger sister
 Parents fostered several children and adopted one
 Attended Catholic Middle School
 Solved the Rubik’s Cube at age 9
 Member of the Order of DeMolay; Held term as Master Councilor
 Graduated public High School
 Everything owned fit in the trunk of beat up ’82 Dodge Diplomat
 Joined the United States Navy after High School graduation and served 10 ½ years.
   Volunteered for Advanced Nuclear Training Program.
 Received honors in Mathematics.
 Served four year tour on USS T Roosevelt, Aircraft Carrier in Norfolk, VA.
 Completed two full Mediterranean Cruises and spent nearly 700 days ocean bound.
 Awarded Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for solely identifying a major electrical design flaw.
 Held several critical positions during tour and received two personal accommodations from the Fleet Admiral for excellence in service and dedication to duty.
 Served as an Instructor at Nuclear Power Training Unit.
 Decommissioned Ballistic Missile Submarine with fully operational Nuclear Reactor, Engineering and Propulsion Plant.
 Awarded Instructor of the Class for superior mentoring abilities.
 Awarded second NAM for emergent repairs to a vital propulsion plant system during a yearly safeguards examination.
 Qualified Engineering Watch Supervisor. Responsible for all aspects of operation, the EWS is in charge of all personnel throughout Engineering.
 Awarded third NAM for outstanding tour as an Instructor leading by example the Navy Corps Values of Honor, Commitment and Courage.
 Spent 1 ½ years with Nucor Steel as a Machinery Vibration Specialist
 Through the use of Vibration Analysis, Airborne Ultrasonic Detection, Infrared Thermal Imaging and other environmental indicators, predicted equipment failure prior to it happening. Therefore, scheduled repairs and not catastrophic failures. Had to wear a vest made of frozen gel in order to complete testing in areas where ambient temperatures exceeded 140°F; surface metal temperatures exceeded 180°F. Chicken is fully cooked at 160°F. Gave up that cool job to start own company.

SUCCESS STORIES

 Myrtle Avenue – The downstairs Main Hall ceiling of this 200 year old home was damaged from an upstairs water leak. We were contracted to repair based on our reputation of quality. We were proud to do our part in keeping this home strong and beautiful.
 Kyoto Express Conway – We were selected from many contractors to perform a nearly $50,000 floor to ceiling renovation on the restaurant. I recommend the Chicken Bowl.
 Habitat for Humanity – QRS personnel has donated over 40 personal hours to building homes. As a company, QRS has donated over $1000 in materials and $1000s more in donated man-hours of labor.
